Larkspur Suite: The Larkspur Suite is a spacious one-bedroom suite located on the main floor of our historic heritage manor in Victoria’s charming Fairfield neighbourhood. Blending timeless character with thoughtful modern comforts, this inviting suite offers the warmth and elegance of a classic craftsman home. Filled with original character details, the suite features beautiful cove ceilings, built-in cabinets, charming window seats, and gleaming restored hardwood floors throughout. Large windows bring in soft natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that guests often remember long after their stay. Free off-street parking at the back of the building, one vehicle per reservation, on the first come first basis. 24-hour free street parking in front of the building, no permits required. During your stay We are available by phone or text if you need anything, have any questions, or have concerns. We are also available in person. Other things to note The building is large three-level heritage manor designed by the well-known Canadian architect, Samuel Maclure and was constructed in 1912. There may be creaks and squeaks on the floor which are to be expected from this vintage of building. If you appreciate buildings with characters and old world charm, then you come to the right place. There are stairs to the building (sorry no elevator), and it is not wheelchair accessible. As such, it will be challenging for those with mobility difficulties. Our posted rate is for double occupancy. Each additional guest after 2 is $45/night. Laundry is in the basement of the building. There is a set of stairs going to it right across from the main entrance of the building. Laundry is between 9 am - 8 pm. Sometimes my 7-year old dog, Cosmo, a medium-size Labradoodle, stays with us. You may see him play outside in the courtyard. He is super friendly. However, if he sees you for the first time, he may bark at you. If you are nervous around dogs, please let us know and we will limit his presence outside. We have motion sensor security cameras on the outside of our building which stay on during 24/7. One at the main entrance, one on the side of the building above the gate, one near the fire escape at the back of the building, one above Unit 7 entrance, and one on the garage facing our parking lot.
