The space This amazing house is known locally as “The Hampton House.” It’s named after the former MLB All-Star baseball player, Mike Hampton, who had this luxurious and charming home built. As you step into this exceptional home, you feel refreshed as you gaze up toward the high ceilings. Enter the living room to a plush double sofa set in front of a smart TV. For your viewing pleasure, watch your favorite movies by signing into your own streaming accounts such as Netflix, Roku, Spectrum. These apps and more are conveniently accessible on all smart TVs. Past the living area, you'll find a beautifully appointed dining table with seating for 6 guests and a kitchenette table for 4, as well as several bar stools at the kitchen island. The entire ground floor is wheelchair accessible. The chef in your party will enjoy the fully equipped kitchen that offers ample granite countertop space for preparing a home-cooked meal. Enjoy the feast at the nearby dining table or take your meal out to the beautiful covered patio which views the amazing backyard gazebo and water. After a fun-filled day of kayaking, fishing, manatee tours, or scuba diving, retreat to one of the cozy bedrooms for a peaceful slumber. Perfect for multiple families, this Victorian mansion sleeps a great many folks comfortably. The downstairs master features a king bed and double futon along with a massive ensuite bathroom complete with double sinks, garden tub, and separate wheelchair accessible shower. The spacious downstairs guest bedroom features a queen bed. The upstairs master also features a king bed and a double futon with an almost equally large master ensuite bathroom with separate garden tub and shower. The two upstairs guest rooms share a “Jack & Jill" bathroom and come with queen beds and beautiful window seating nooks to cozy up in with a cup of tea and a good book. It gets even better - the upstairs game room / common room boasts a variety of activities from a billiards table to board games on a solid oak card table or the perfect viewing spot for the big game on the large smart TV. The additional space allows for multiple rollaway beds, three of which are provided by the host. Step outside and approach the canal leading to the Homosassa River. Featuring a delightful place to gather, the gazebo sets the stage to enjoy the outdoor surroundings as the kids play in the fenced in yard on the private estate. The grounds are perfect for intimate weddings and other small special events (up to 40 people with a signed agreement from the host). Pack lightly when you travel to this luxurious home, as a washer and dryer is available to refresh your laundry. No need to fumble with keys and lock boxes as this rental is equipped with quick & easy keyless entry. Parking is a breeze in the 3-car attached garage which can easily fit a large SUV and additional parking is available on the property which can accommodate boat trailers. (there are 4 kayaks in the garage) This neighborhood is golf cart friendly. This private home on 3 acres also has other booking spaces available. Currently there is RV hook-up on the concrete pad near the road at the front of the property (inquire through the messaging app on Airbnb for more info on these two water/electric hook up sites before they get booked by others). Other things to note The downstairs of the home is wheelchair accessible, including the bathroom toilet with a bar and walk-in shower with a bar.
