It is a two block walk to the Bay Drive Boat Launch and Marina where locals and visitors go every evening to watch the incredible sunsets on Kitty Hawk Bay and Albemarle Sound. It takes that same two block walk to get to the Bay Drive multiuse path. This path starts where Kitty Hawk Rd. meets the Bypass at MP 1 and runs through Kitty Hawk Woods past historical landmarks, by county parks, along Kitty Hawk Bay, through KIll Devil Hills, across the Wright Brothers Memorial Park to the top of the memorial! Dare Center Shopping Center is approximately 1 .5 miles away and has a Food Lion super market, Belk department store, pizza, Chinese food, beach store, and others. A Target loacation will be opening in the spring of 2023 and is about a mile away, as well! The ocean and famous Avalon Pier is about a mile due East from the house. The OBX has two main roads, the 158 Bypass and Route 12. The house has private off street parking for 4 vehicles.
