Country house – Paris > 35 min / Versailles > 25 min

In the heart of a small village, 35 minutes from Paris by car or train, 25 minutes from the Palace of Versailles and 5 minutes from Thoiry Zoo. The house is detached, with a 1,300 m2 enclosed garden and a private, heated swimming pool (10 m2). When you arrive, the house will be cleaned, the beds will be ready, and large towels and pool sarongs will be provided. We provide the basic necessities: coffee beans (about 15 coffees), paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, etc. The space We finished renovating the house in July 2022, bringing it all the modern comforts, but taking care to keep its character. We thought it would make you feel at home. Outside, a large garden, a courtyard where you can park 2 cars (but you have plenty of space in front of the house), a heated swimming pool of 10 m2, a terrace equipped with a large table and a plancha on sunny days. The house is equipped with a fireplace and stove that you can use to brighten up your winter evenings. Wood is available to you, assuming reasonable consumption. We provide a collection of DVDs, comics and games for children (big and small). You can also enjoy our sound system in the large living room with our CDs, vinyls or with our bluetooth speaker. The kitchen is equipped with the basic items: salt, pepper, spices, coffee beans (enough for about 15 coffees in advance), tea, sugar, etc. Check-in is between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and check-out is between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. If we do not have an arrival on the day of your departure, we can let you enjoy the time for lunch (> 3:00 pm). Please let us know if you wish to take advantage of this, so that we can adapt the schedule of the cleaning service. We love sharing our home and are committed to providing a warm welcome. We hope that respect will be mutual. Guest access You have access to the whole house. ON the ground floor: - An entrance - A cellar (with large size freezer wardrobe) - A dining room + living room with a fireplace - A 2nd living room with TV and stove - A fully equipped kitchen (coffee machine with coffee beans, hotplates, extractor hood, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, etc.) - Laundry (washing machine + dryer) - A toilet UPSTAIRS: - A 1st double bedroom (queen bed) + desk - A 2nd double bedroom (queen bed) + large desk - A 3rd bedroom (bed 90 ) + desk - A 4th large bedroom (3 single beds) - Shower room + toilet - Bathroom + toilet (access to the 4th bedroom) Other things to note >>> PARTIES The house is independent and not overlooked but we have neighbors nearby. So we don't accept parties and music too loudly out of respect for them. >>> THE POOL Pool (10m2) private and heated from May to September (depending on weather). It is secured by a rigid tarp (NF P 90 308 Safety standard) which must be unwound if you have children and are not in direct proximity. Animals are strictly prohibited for hygiene reasons and because the liner (the inner surface) would not withstand an animal's claws. >>> ANIMALS We welcome your four-legged companions, as long as they are as well behaved as their masters. To enjoy a clean and pleasant garden, there are fields located a 5-minute walk away. They'll love the walk! In the house, please do not let them climb on the sofas and beds.
