The space Set alongside a picture-perfect village church, Rose Cottage is a delightful Grade II listed 3-bedroom cottage in the sweet village of Rodborough. With Selsey and Rodborough commons nearby and footpaths leading from your doorstep this wonderful cottage is ideal for picturesque country walks, including down to the village pub. With country kitchen, a living room/dining room, three beautiful bedrooms and private garden, the property has the space and everything you could need for a wonderful country escape for family or groups of friends. With its wood burning stove, the stunning living room is a cosy space to relax after a busy day exploring while a dining table provides a space to gather for breakfast before heading out for a walk on the common. Set over three beautiful floors, the cottage offers a king-size, double and twin bedroom offering flexible sleeping arrangements ideal for families and groups. Each room has been beautifully furnished, and special touches include cushioned window seats with fabulous views of the surrounding Cotswold countryside and village church. Outside a cottage garden provides the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing lunch or cup of coffee or you can simply stroll down to the village pub or Selsey or Rodborough common, fantastic spots for children or dogs to run and play. Ground Floor Open Plan Living/Dining Room: This welcoming room with its wood-burning stove has been thoughtfully decorated with special finishing touches. With a comfortable sofa and smart TV you can cosy up and stream your favourite movie or series together. A wooden dining table seats six so your group can enjoy meals together before retreating to a window seat with a glass of wine to take in the views. Kitchen: Finished with wooden worktops, the kitchen has everything you could need including fridge-freezer, oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine. First Floor The wide but steep carpeted stairs have a handrail and lead up to the first floor. Bedroom One: Looking across Selsley Common this beautiful bedroom has a sumptuous king-size bed. A built-in wardrobe offers clothing storage while a traditional cottage window with window seat offers spectacular views of the common. Family Bathroom: With a shower over the bath, toilet, sink unit with storage and heated towel rail the family bathroom is well-equipped. A window provides natural light so you can relax and create your own spa experience. Second Floor The steep stairs continue to the second floor with vertical grab rails to assist. This floor has restricted headroom and sloped ceilings to the sides. Bedroom Two: Overlooking the quaint village church, the double bedroom is a hidden retreat. A chest of drawers provide clothing storage. Bedroom Three: Across the landing is a sweet twin room with two single beds perfect for children or friends. A chest of drawers provides clothing storage. Outside: The sweet garden includes both a lawn and patio which provides a calm place to dine and relax, overlooking the beautiful common. Take a seat on the bench where you can enjoy the views and serve meals al fresco at the table and chairs which seat six. On-street parking can be found on the street directly below the cottage or on the passing main road. You can walk from here to the village pub or Rodborough and Selsey Common or a longer walk to famous Minchinhampton Common with its grazing cows. Guest access Guests have full access to the house and garden. Other things to note • Book with us to get exclusive discounts to top attractions and experiences. • 1 well-behaved dog is welcome for an additional fee of £45 per dog. This fee is not included in the rental price. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog and you will be sent a request for the additional fee. • There is a low perimeter wall to the front of the cottage with a high drop beyond, dogs and children must be supervised at all times and not left unattended. • Head height on the second floor is limited with an approximate maximum of 5’10” at the centre of the bedrooms. • Rose Cottage, Rodborough accepts a maximum of 1 infant.
