Surround yourself with the quiet beauty of the Cornwall Inn. Built in the late 1800's, the Cornwall Inn first stood as the Cornwall Iron furnaces' second iron baron, Robert Coleman's private estate. The space The Inn is steeped in history with its iron trestle bridge, stonewalls, rustic carriage house, flowing stream and ever changing seasonal gardens. We create a relaxed and comfortable environment for your guests and family while maintaining a professional operation that provides you with peace of mind and confidence that everything will be taken care of. Enjoy the movie room or game room with arcade games and TV. We can sleep up to 20 (6 bedrooms) at the Cornwall and many bedrooms have their own bathrooms. All bedrooms have TV's and have beautiful and comfortable beds and furniture. The ground floor offers 2 accessible bedrooms and bathrooms and we have ramped pathways and 2 ADA bathrooms one with outside access from the gardens and one inside. On the main level we have a ballroom that can seat almost 100 people, a commercial kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a living room. There is another large kitchen on the second floor. Step outside and and relax in the 7 person hot tub, perfect for cool nights and winter days. Play pickleball/tennis (public court across the road), croquet or cornhole or just sit by the lovely stream that runs through the property. We also offer many outdoor seating areas and options for a barbecue or evening around the fire. Christmas brings more fun for Christmas weddings in a beautifully decorated house that is quiet and peaceful for that special wedding or family get away. Rails to trails is an easy walk from the house and provides fun for the whole family. Like to golf? The local area has multiple courses within 10 minutes of the Inn, Just want to read and rest? Enjoy the nooks and areas throughout the gardens and house where you can enjoy some peace. Hershey Park is bout 25 minutes drive and beautiful Lancaster and Mt. Gretna are also very close.
