CITQ#: 305022 Welcome to the chalet La Catrina on the shore of Lake Gérard in St-Alphonse-Rodriguez ! ✶ A maximum of 6 adults and 2 children under 12 years of age ✶ SPA and Sauna open all year-round ✶ 2 Terraces with BBQs surrounded by the tall trees and blue jays ✶ Outdoor meat smoker ✶ Outdoor firepit & Indoor Fireplace ✶ 2 living rooms with each a Smart TV ✶ Workspace with ergo-chair, screens and fast Wifi ✶ A double Kayak and 2 SUPs are available The space ✧ La Catrina is the dream destination for the family of epicureans. Its spaces are designed so that every moment is filled with fun! ✧ The main floor is a large open area with large windows overlooking the forest. There is the living room with smart TV and wood fireplace, the dining room which can accommodate 6 guests, the fully equipped kitchen to allow you to cook with the food essentials provided (oil, spices, coffee, sugar, flour, etc. etc.), then a full bathroom with washer & dryer. You can eat on the balcony terrace containing a propane bbq, an outdoor sofa and dining furniture. This is our favorite spot to observe blue jays! ✧ A staircase leads to the mezzanine, which opens onto the living room. An office space is equipped with two monitors, a desk and an ergonomic chair, in addition to having access to an ultra-fast and reliable wifi connection (80 mbps). Adjacent is a bedroom open to the common area with a queen bed, as well as an adjacent full bathroom. This open bed-room has windows without curtains. Expect the light to come in early in the morning. ✧ On the garden level, there is another living room, including 3 couches! The space is also fitted out with a mini-fridge and a second smart television. There are two closed bedrooms containing a queen bed each and a storage space with high chair and a small mattress for children. ✧ Finally, from the family room we have access to the second terrace, where the charcoal bbq is located, the spa which is open year round, an outdoor shower in summer, and access to the garden with its outdoor fireplace convertible as a grill and its meat smoker. Guest access ✧ You will have access to the entire property in complete privacy, with the exception of a wardrobe which is used to keep our personal effects. ✧ By booking with us, you will receive a Guest Manual giving you all the important information to know about the chalet, in addition to the addresses of relevant activities and shops nearby! ✧ Bring your skates, we made a rink on the lake behind the house! ✧ The outside shower and the boats are presently not available for the winter season. From October 15th to May 1st. Other things to note - Dog Friendly Rules: We accept a maximum of 1 dog under strict conditions and only with our permission. We are animal lovers but have had bad experiences in the past with owners who did not respect our property, thank you for your understanding. ๏ Additional fees: $100 per stay per dog. ๏ Guests must have at least 1 positive review from a previous experience on Airbnb. ๏ We do not accept young dogs under 1 year old. ๏ Your dog must not exceed 40 lbs. ๏ The cottage must be left clean and in order to facilitate the work of the housekeeping team, it must not appear that a dog was present. ๏ Your dog must be "housebroken", and must under no circumstances gain access to bedrooms or climb on furniture. ๏ Your dog must not cause a noise nuisance for neighbors. ๏ Guests must pick up after the dog at all times and keep the yard clean. Thank you for your understanding :-) *TV* We have two smart TVs with a Roku system in the chalet, but do not offer cable channel. You will have access to applications like Netflix, Youtube, Disney + on which you can connect your account. *BBQ* There is a propane bbq and a charcoal bbq at your disposal. The propane will be provided, but you need to bring your own charcoal if you wish to use the second bbq. *ROAD NOISE* Please note that a road is close to the chalet, so you'll hear car noises and occasional trucks passing by. * FIREPLACE / LOGS * There is an indoor and outdoor fireplace at your disposal. We provide a few logs, For the purchase of additional logs, you can buy some from us at $5 for a bundle of wood *GERARD LAKE* Swimming is possible in Lake Gérard. However, the lake is unsupervised, shallow, and may contain various plants. We recommend wearing water shoes because the bottom may be muddy, and using the single kayak provided for your convenience. For pleasant beaches nearby you can consult the ''map'' section. CHARGING STATION* There is an EV charging station for your electric car on the premises.
