Experience all that Bodega Bay has to offer with this centrally located, modern beach home, walking distance to Terrapin Creek, Roadhouse Coffee, the Marinas, Spud Point, Bodega Head Trail, and a 2-min drive (or 20-min walk) to Salmon Creek Beach. Surfing, hiking, boating, fishing, birding, horseback riding, whale watching enthusiasts along with foodies (freshly caught seafood, organic produce, local wines and cheeses haven!) and remote workers will love the chill and peaceful vibe of this small seaside town. INTERIOR: - Enjoy the bright, modern open concept space professionally decorated by highly acclaimed Swedish Property Stylist, Ulrika Edin. - The spacious, cozy living room is open to the kitchen and features a dining area (round table that sits 6 comfortably also has a hidden leaf for extension), a remote-controlled gas fireplace, a smart TV, and large windows to enjoy the natural sunlight. - The kitchen is well stocked with Greenpan cookware, William Sonoma dishware and silverware, J.A. Henckels knives, and cooking utensils. It has a Ninja coffee maker, tea kettle, mini-waffle maker, toaster, Ninja blender, electric hand mixer, dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, full-size refrigerator with filtered water and ice maker, quartz counters, maple cabinets and ceramic tile finishes. We also offer salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, spices, coffee, flour and sugar. - Sleeps 6 comfortably (6 ADULTS MAX) between the 3 bedrooms including the primary with a king size bed, one guest bedroom with a queen size bed, and another guest bedroom with two twin size beds that can easily be moved to make one larger bed. May fit up to 7-8 people if some guests are small children, but only the 4 beds will be provided. - Luxurious bed and bath linens from Brooklinen and blackout curtains for your utmost comfort. - Primary bedroom features a king size bed, a huge walk-in closet, a dedicated work area and a large slider with access to the patio and backyard. - Primary bathroom features heated floors, oversized tiled shower, and double vanity. - Guest bathroom featured a shower over tub, a large single vanity, and a window. - 1,430 sq ft of livable space + finished garage set up as a game room. - Game room features ping pong and foosball tables set up in the garage. - Bluetooth speaker. - Dedicated workspace area in primary bedroom with adjustable standing desk and ample electrical outlets. - High speed internet by Comcast. - Pro thermostat, smoke and carbon dioxide alarm, fire sprinklers. - Solar panels, tankless water heater, central heat (no AC). EXTERIOR - Bay-view roof deck with hot tub, lounge area and gas fire pit. (Guests 16 and up only.) - Large concrete patio features a dining table and lounge area with no rear neighbors, and views through a small grove of coastal pines. - Inviting front porch with coastal landscaping and lights. - Wide concrete driveway and front yard can accommodate up to 3 cars comfortably. - Tesla or hybrid charging station available on property. - On a clear day, enjoy views to bay and marinas from the backyard and roof deck. Guest access - Self check in with keyless entry - Guests have access to the entire home, backyard, and roof deck (Guests 16 and up only). - Guests can utilize Tesla/hybrid charging station as they need, located in the garage - Guests can utilize the washing machine and dryer in the laundry closet in the hallway - Free onsite parking (3 vehicles max) - Early check-in and late check-out: available upon request for $50/hour. Please check the calendar prior to making your request. If there is a back-to-back reservation (same day check-in or check-out), we will not be able to accomodate your request. Other things to note - Maintenance Schedule: Hot tub service occurs on Tuesday and Friday each week, typically between 9am and noon; Pest control is once a month, generally mid-month, exterior only; Landscaping is on the third Wednesday of each month. Vendors should announce themselves on arrival, but we cannot guarantee that. - Dogs are welcome under strict conditions and with an additional pet deposit. - Absolutely no pets on linen/furniture - A very short walk to The Secret Gardens! - The house is located near Highway One which has a speed limit of 25mph and can get pretty busy on the weekend and holidays (traffic noise is almost indiscernible inside the house and very light in the backyard). - Children should be supervised at all times while in the front of the property (which is NOT fenced) and not cross the road unaccompanied. - The House has no AC. And honestly, it is not needed. - Weather: in Bodega Bay, the summers are long, comfortable, dry, and mostly clear and the winters are short, cold, wet, and partly cloudy. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 40°F to 75°F and is rarely below 32°F or above 84°F. - On a clear day, you can see water and bay views from the backyard and roof deck. Note that we cannot guarantee you will be able to enjoy views of the bay due to the fog and weather conditions. - Lots of restaurants options around the house, some walking distance and some within a short drive.
