Our warm and inviting condo combines amazing proximity to hiking with to-die-for views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the horizon 75 MILES distant! Our condo sits a mere 400-yd walk from the closest hiking trail and also has direct access to the ridge line walking area - perfect place for a morning stroll! The space Welcome to our mountain top home, just minutes from the heart of the resort, connected to walking trails, and with spectacular views! Our home is ideal for families, couples, friends getaways, and folks exploring the brew and wine scene, and hiking and skiing. From the parking area you will take the outdoor walkway into the building and find our front door on the right. To the left of the front door a convenient bench and coat holder allows for easy removal of hiking and ski/snowboard boots along with hanging any outer wear or gear. As you enter our condo you will experience the warmth and personal touches that went into this new renovation. To your left you will find a modern designer dining table with seating for 6+. The table also provides the perfect workspace for anyone needing to get some things done. Our high speed Wi-Fi combined with the mountain views allow for a pleasant work experience. Beyond the table the space opens to the living room which features a large wood burning fireplace with endless firewood available in the wood racks out front. Above the fireplace hangs a 50" 4K Roku TV. Bring your own login and enjoy any apps! A small outdoors themed reading collection on the shelves, specially curated by us, also provides an excellent way to unwind. You will find the living room well appointed with comfy high end furniture including a sectional sofa and leather arm chair. Enjoy your morning coffee while watching the incredible sunrise over the mountains from our large windows! In the evening, after a long day of outdoor adventure you can unwind with a warm fire and enjoy time with loved ones while watching the sky fade from afternoon blue to starry black. Off of the living room the balcony provides a large space to enjoy the views and the fresh air. On the balcony we provide high quality furniture from Poly Wood, including a four seater high top table and two Adirondack style chairs. Coffee, meals, and evening beverages take on an even greater delight in this setting! To the right, just inside the front door, you will find a bar top that opens to the kitchen. The three leather bar stools offer a perfect space for guests to gather and socialize while someone prepares a meal. The kitchen features: ✤ Fully stocked cookware and dinnerware ✤ 12 pot coffee maker with coffee/creamer/sugar provided ✤ Olive oil/salt/pepper/soap/paper goods provided ✤ New stainless steel appliances ✤ New granite countertops Down the hallway you will find a coat closet, pantry, and a full bathroom. The bathroom was very recently fully renovated. Both of our bathrooms feature: ✤ Eco & health friendly products from Public Goods including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion. ✤ High quality large bath towels and wash clothes from Standard Textiles. ✤ Makeup wash clothes from Standard Textiles. ✤ Hair dryers provided for each bathroom. The first bedroom off the hallway is the master with an ensuite full bathroom. This room has a king bed with a high quality Helix Hospitality Mattress. A dresser and 4K Roku TV are provided. There is also a double closet and blackout curtains. This bedroom contains a newly renovated en suite bathroom for added privacy. The end of the hallway leads to the 2nd bedroom. This room features a queen bed with Helix Hospitality mattress and a twin bunk bed. Between the two different bed options, adults and kids alike will enjoy sleeping here! A 4K Roku TV is also provided. A double closet provides ample room for hanging clothes and keeping suitcases out of the way. We provide a pack-n-play with sheets for anyone bringing a baby or young toddler! ATTENTION TO DETAIL ✔ We provide high end and health conscious Public Goods brand shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion. ✔ Our home has a washer and dryer along with ironing board and iron for your use. Detergent and dryer sheets are provided. ✔ We keep a first aid kit in the kitchen for minor cuts and scrapes. ✔ The living room, master bedroom, and second bedroom feature Roku TVs, just bring your own login and enjoy any standard app. ✔ We provide premium linens for each guest. ✔ We provide basic paper goods and consumables - paper towels, tissues, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, dish soap, sponges. ✔ Coffee, creamer, sugar are included. ✔ If ANYTHING is amiss let us know and we will rectify the situation promptly! Guest access You will have access to the entire space with the exception of a small locked owners closet in the hallway. Access is provided via an electronic keypad on the door. The code is provided in your check in email. Other things to note There are two trails that lead from our unit to the Highlands Express Chairlift, one is paved and the other is a grass trail on the ridge line. While we are not a true ski in/ski out it is possible to ski to the chairlift on the grass trail when adequate natural snow has fallen. A ski shuttle is available from the parking lot to the main ski area. Note: there are a series of three short stairs, approximately 20 steps in total, to get from the parking lot to the front door. We have among the fewest steps from the parking lot to our front door of any condo in the area.
