Quiet, semi-rural, eclectic, old neighborhood with friendly neighbors and a variety of home styles and ranchettes. Lower Oak Creek is across the street from the cabin. And it's a scenic 20-minute drive to Sedona, Cottonwood and all the area restaurants, shopping, wineries and tourist attractions. Please note: Zoning in this area is flexible and allows trailer homes. Many residents here are working class and some of the homes/trailers are old and need improvements. This makes some visitors/guests feel unsafe. But please consider the following: 1. Don't judge a book by its cover. 2. Crime can and does happen ANYWHERE. 3. As a single female homeowner, I have never had any issue here. 4. RING cameras are located at all entrances of the home. 5. Overall, residents here are friendly and helpful people. Much of the neighborhood is comprised of working class residents and their families. These are the mechanics who fix our cars, landscapers who take care of your yard, luxury resort employees, a Fed Ex subcontractor (next door back yard), massage therapists, organic vegetable growers, a human resources director (next door), lots of children, and across the street from us is an historic mining cabin owned by a retired mechanical engineer and his wife. He recently survived a car accident and his totaled vehicle is temporarily parked on the street. Parking is just off the street, in front of the cabin, adjacent to the fenced yard. Ayurvedic health consultations, bodywork, and craniosacral therapy are available from your cohost, Tamara. These sessions help people strengthen their immune, digestive, and nervous systems and thus overall health. Ongoing Ayurvedic consultations are available via Zoom, pre/post travel.
