Bearfoot Lodge is an authentic log cabin with modern amenities & gorgeous mountain views nestled in the mountains of Maggie Valley, NC. Enjoy this clean private cabin, featuring 3 bedrooms & 3 full bathrooms. Sleeps 6 adults, plus 2 kids. Settle into this peaceful cabin to relax & enjoy the scenery surrounding this private cabin or venture out to enjoy hiking, skiing/tubing, shopping, breweries, wineries, rafting, shows & more all nearby! The space -Main level has 2 bedrooms with king-size beds. Lower level has 1 family bedroom with a 1 king-size bed & bunk beds (full & twin) with play nook to keep younger guests occupied. -3 full bathrooms (one on each level). Main level has a shower/tub combo, lower level has a walk-in shower & loft has shower/tub combo. -Lower level deck features a 6-person hot tub with unbeatable mountain views year round to relax and take in the mountain air. -Upper level deck with patio seating includes string lights, creating the perfect ambiance for an outdoor evening at the cabin enjoying cocktails, catching up with family and friends, or enjoying a romantic evening. Also includes a gas & charcoal grill for cooking out. -Main level living room features a leather sofa and a wood burning fireplace to cozy up after a day of skiing or a cold night inside. -Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, baking dishes, crockpot, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, tea kettle, dishes (including a kid-friendly set), drinking glasses, wine glasses, cutlery and more! Dining table comfortably seats 6, plus 2 stools at breakfast bar island for additional seating. -Fire pit with cozy string lights just a few yards off the deck and is perfect for warming up, roasting smores and spending an evening under the stars. -Loft area is complete with a pool table, board games, DVDs, books and toys for the whole family to enjoy during a day or night inside. -Office space with 2 office chairs is conveniently located in the loft area for those looking to work remotely from the mountains or catch up on emails. -WiFi included; Smart TVs in main level living room, lower level living room, both main level bedrooms and lower level bedrooms. DVD player in main level living room, lower level living room and both main level bedrooms. -Central heat and air conditioning for optimal comfort. -Lower level has bonus area with seating and table for playing games. -Washer & dryer is conveniently located in the lower level, if needed during your stay. Guest access Cabin located off Soco road, the main road running through Maggie Valley. The road leading up the mountain to the cabin is less than a mile. It's a paved road, but is more narrow in some areas as you go up the switch backs. No trailers are permitted at the cabin. Cabin parking includes lower parking drive and upper main level access for 2 additional vehicles. During the winter months, we do experience inclement weather, including snow and ice. Other things to note Pets: Pets are welcome with a non-refundable $100 pet fee. We ask that you either take your pet with you or crate them when you’re not going to be with them. For your convenience, we have gates on the upper deck. Security: For your safety & the safety of our home, we do have floodlight cameras located at each end of the cabin; one facing the driveway on the upper deck, one facing the driveway/entry door on the lower level, one facing the firepit area and one facing the deck/entry door on the upper level. The cameras only show outdoor activity & there are no cameras in the cabin or on the lower deck with the hot tub. These are only for security since there are times when the cabin is vacant.
