You won’t want to leave this charming, comfortable, and cozy hideaway! Everything has recently been updated. You have private parking, a private entry, your own full bath, a kitchenette with microwave, small refrigerator, sink, dishes, utensils. Walk a short distance to the barn and get your hands on the alpacas or watch them graze against the gorgeous backdrop of Moscow Mountain scenery. You're set to discover the beauty of the Palouse or visit your college students at the U of I or WSU! The space This space is a daylight walk-out basement apartment. The room is spacious with two windows providing plenty of light. We are situated on top of a hill and you can see stunning sunsets and beautiful, constantly changing views of Moscow Mountain in the distance. Guest access You will have access to your room, private bathroom, a small patio off your room, and you are welcome to walk to the porch and sit and view the scenery from another angle. You can wander down to the barn and visit with the alpacas or wander over our 11 acres for a little hike! During your stay We love to meet our guests, but no problem if you prefer your privacy! We leave a "cheat sheet" on the table to explain the set-up in this room, so you know where the heater is, the USB plug-ins, etc. You can always call or text with questions or concerns. Other things to note There are two of us that live upstairs. We try to be quiet as church mice from 10 PM to 8 AM, but you may hear us walking, talking, or making dinner. On Sundays, our children and grandchildren often come over for lunch or dinner. The dining room table is above your room so there's no doubt you will hear us if you are here on a Sunday when the crew is over! But come on up and join the crowd and the fun! We'd be happy to have you! Otherwise, it's generally very peaceful around here.
