Relax with the whole family at this peaceful mountain getaway on 6 gated acres. With a game room, wet bar and televisions in every room, there is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy a holiday with friends or family. The kitchen is very well equipped. With a nursery just off the master bedroom and lots to do in the game room, kids love the place. Out of respect for guests who have allergies, we do not allow pets under any circumstances but I can highly recommend my own pet sitter. I live about 30 minutes away and I have someone living elsewhere on the property who can take care of any immediate issues. The house is located in Capitan NM, on 6 gated acres, about 20 minutes from Ruidoso's Ski Run Road. Capitan is a quiet town of approximately 1500 people, and known to be the home of Smokey Bear. The location is spectacular, near the historic town of Lincoln and of course everything the resort town of Ruidoso has to offer, with horse racing, casinos, swimming, fishing, hiking, wineries, fabulous shopping, restaurants and live music. Capitan has several restaurants of it's own and everything you need right in town within a one minute drive. Ruidoso is another 25 minutes. While everything in Capitan is within walking distance, you will want a car in order to appreciate and experience everything our community has to offer. There is parking for many vehicles, including full hookups for RVs for an additional charge. There are two garage spaces.
