Welcome! We are sure you will enjoy your stay in this centrally located first-floor apartment, which sleeps 5-6 guests! You'll feel at home in this cozy 2-bedroom unit, stocked with everything you would need during your stay. Walking distance away from Main Street and Wesleyan, you'll be able to explore all Middletown and the surrounding area has to offer. Two porches, a fenced-in backyard, and a firepit are all available for your use! Pets are welcome! Any questions? Message us! There are two bedrooms with Queen sized beds (sleeping 2 guests each) and closets. One of these bedrooms also has a TV and dresser. There is a full-sized mattress in the pull-out sofa in the living room to sleep an additional 1-2 people. The living room offers plenty of space, comfortable seating, and a large TV. The dining room comfortably seats 6 people. There is a full kitchen with all the appliances and cookware you’ll need! The bathroom has a bathtub and storage for toiletries. There are also several outdoor spaces including an enclosed front porch, a private back porch, and a fenced-in yard with a fire pit and chairs. The driveway can fit 3-4 cars and is for your complete use. There is free street parking on surrounding streets. Close to several wedding venues, highways, grocery stores, restaurants, hospitals and entertainment including a ten minute walk/two minute drive from Wesleyan University and Main Street. You’ll have full access to the first floor unit & back porch! The driveway on the left of the home is entirely yours to use. The front porch and backyard is shared. We live in the upstairs unit of this home. We'd be more than glad to meet you and show you around the property if requested! Otherwise, we will give you complete privacy. You may be greeted by our sweet pups if you go into the back yard, but otherwise you won’t be running into them. We’re located in the heart of the North End of Middletown. It’s an urban area conveniently located to everything you’ll need during your stay such as restaurants, grocery stores, and easy access to the highway. There’s sidewalks available for easy walking to downtown. Please keep in mind we are in a city. We are far enough from Main Street where there is little foot traffic, but many people use our road during the morning and afternoon for commuting, so it can get busy. Reach out to us if you’d like recommendations on the best route for navigation around the neighborhood. There is a full driveway available for parking 3-4 cars, along with plenty of free street parking on nearby streets. There is no street parking on our street, however. Our home is along the the Route 584 bus path as well. Main St and Wesleyan are both walkable or a 1-2 minute drive (depending on where you're going). Close to grocery stores, Middlesex Hospital, convenience stores, major highways, and several wedding venues. ~Late Check-Out/Early Check-In~ We are happy to accommodate early check-in or late check-out when possible. Often times, however, there are guests before or after you and we only have a short window of time to clean the unit. We will gladly notify you if this option is available, or feel free to ask! Thank you so much for your understanding. ~This Unit May Not Be For You If…~ We have never had complaints about these items, but we do want to accurately set your expectations! If you are possibly bothered by the sounds of traffic & footsteps, this apartment may not be for you. We are on an active road and the home is close to the street. You can expect to hear traffic activity. Also, we do live upstairs and keep noise to an absolute minimum, but you can expect to hear us and our dogs walking around at times (and an occasional dog bark, but they don’t bark much). Ear plugs and sound machines are provided in unit, just in case! ~Air Conditioning~ There is a window unit AC that cools the entire unit in the dining room and another AC in one of the bedrooms. The whole apartment should stay cool with the one unit on and there are also two stand up fans provided. However, please note that one bedroom does not have an AC unit, so if the door is shut, it will not be cool. ~Pull Out Sofa Bed~ We will have this prepared for groups of four or more. If you are a party of four or less and would like to use the sofa bed, please let us know in advance!
