There are superb walks, pubs within close proximity and guests will have access to the Mill Village Pool, Sauna and tennis courts. The space Welcome to Bridge House, a charming 4-bedroom cottage located in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park. Situated within a 450-acre private nature reserve, this estate is a haven of tranquillity surrounded by protected natural beauty. Guests can indulge in a wide array of activities suitable for all ages. Explore the enchanting surroundings with picturesque walks along the Thames path, or embark on thrilling cycling adventures. For those seeking water based activties, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, and fishing are all on offer, on top of the superb on-site outside swimming pool. Sports enthusiasts will be delighted with the tennis courts, volleyball net, table tennis tables and the 5 a side football pitch. Little ones will be entertained with two dedicated play areas designed with their enjoyment in mind. Bridge House provides the perfect getaway to immerse yourself in the wonders of nature while enjoying an array of exciting activities - and is even dog friendly. An on-site Restaurant / Bar and coffee shop provides the perfect opportunity to get away from the kitchen. Bridge House offers a comfortable and flexible accommodation for up to eight guests (and two well behaved pets). The Living Space: Step into Bridge House’s open-plan living/dining area, where you'll find a modern log burner nestled within a charming fireplace. French doors lead out onto the decking area, allowing for a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. For your entertainment, there's a Samsung TV, along with Netflix, Amazon, Disney Plus and Apple + subscriptions for you to enjoy. The dining table can comfortably seat up to eight people, perfect for shared meals and quality time together. And because we understand the joy of home-cooked meals, our kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you'll need and has an abundance of glassware, crockery, and cutlery, so you can let the integrated dishwasher take the strain! Additionally, there is a convenient ground floor cloak room which is located beside the utility room that houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. The Bedrooms Master Bedroom 1: This elegant retreat showcases a spacious king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom adorned with a luxurious walk-in shower. As you step through the French doors, be captivated by the breathtaking vistas of the scenic Somerford Lagoon. These enchanting views create the perfect backdrop to a relaxing stay. The bedroom has a built-in wardrobe with an additional chest of draws. Master Bedroom 2: The second master bedroom also contains a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a luxurious walk-in shower. This time the French doors look out towards Mill Lake. This room also has a built-in wardrobe and an additional chest of draws. Bedroom 3: This comfy bedroom contains a single bed with an additional single pull out stacker bed and can be configured as a single or a twin room for one or two guests. Bedroom 4: This bedroom is identical to bedroom 3 and also contains a single bed with an additional single pull out stacker bed and can be configured as a single or a twin room. Family Bathroom: Indulge in the comfort of a generously sized, recently renovated family bathroom. This delightful space boasts a luxurious bathtub and above the tub is a refreshing shower, perfect for after a day spent exploring and immersing yourself in the beautiful surroundings. Outside Space: There is a large south-facing decked area, overlooking the River Thames. This spacious outdoor area provides the perfect setting for memorable al fresco dining experiences. Gather around the large table, savouring delicious meals and enjoying the company of loved ones amidst the beauty of nature. For those seeking the smoky flavours of a barbecue, a BBQ is readily available for your culinary creations. Sit back and relax on the numerous reclining chairs and comfortable bench seating, allowing you to bask in the tranquillity of the surroundings while soaking up the sun's warmth. Whether you're indulging in a leisurely meal or simply unwinding with a book, the expansive decked area offers the ultimate outdoor retreat at Bridge House. Guest access We take great delight in welcoming families with children as our guests. With an array of activities available both on the estate and in the surrounding area, there is an abundance of entertainment for all members of the family. Children will be enthralled by the opportunity to explore the sprawling 450-acre private nature reserve, which serves as a magnificent playground for their imaginations. Moreover, within the estate, two dedicated kids' play areas await, promising endless fun and adventure. For even more fun and excitement, the Mill Village features a heated outdoor pool and sauna, where children and adults can enjoy the water and create lasting memories. In addition to these, the Lower Mill Estate Activity Hub allows you to hire water sports and bike equipment, ensuring that there is never a dull moment. Canoeing, Kayaking and Paddle Boarding opportunities are just minutes away from your doorstep, and the Cotswold Beach and water sports centre lie within a mere mile of the property, offering an array of aquatic adventures. Please note that fishing is permitted in select lakes with the required license. Other things to note Please note that the swimming pools and sauna facilities are shared with the other properties situated on the Lower Mill Estate. The operation and management of estate facilities, including Ballihoo and the Soft Play, are handled by third-party entities, and therefore, we do not have control or influence over their availability or pricing. We kindly advise you to verify any specific details or seek further clarification before making a booking. We warmly welcome your canine companions* to our cottage, as we understand the joy of exploring the splendid countryside with them by your side. However, we kindly request that you refrain from allowing your pets on the furniture and bring a suitable bed for their comfort. For your convenience, an outdoor tap is provided on the side of the property to assist in cleaning your pet before entering the house. The Cotswold's Country Park and Beach can be reached within a short 5-minute drive, while the captivating villages of the Cotswolds, such as Cirencester, await exploration within a 15-minute journey from the cottage.
