The iconic “Windy Point Inn” was formerly known as Big Bear Lake’s only lakefront Bed & Breakfast since 1990. Now known as “The Point”, our scenic luxury cabin-villa is located on the quiet north shore of Big Bear lake. Close to hiking trails, boat rentals and restaurants. All rooms have great lake view, private deck, fireplace and full bathroom. Zimmerman, in August 1990. Windypoint Inn opened for guests in 1990 as Big Bear’s first and only lakefront bed & breakfast. Zimmerman died six months later, but his parents and sister decided to hold onto the cabin bed and breakfast, as his legacy, until 2015.
