Nestled in the hills of Carmel, this hideaway is perfect for couples, families or adventurous travelers alike. It is a one bedroom apartment complete with its own private entrance, fully equipped kitchenette and ample sleeping space for the whole family. It includes access to the garden and the spa oasis. We are a friendly retired couple who love to host guests. This apartment is attached to our house, but it is on the lower level and has a separate entrance. Guests can expect to have complete privacy. The space is equipped to sleep up to six people comfortably. In the bedroom, there is a Casper memory foam queen bed, two single beds, and a futon which can fold flat. In the living room, there is a sleeping nook with a double bed. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils, and cutlery. The living room features a TV with Roku, a sleeping nook. Table and chairs and a bench. The bathroom features a shower (no bathtub), hair dryer, towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. High Speed Wireless internet available throughout the apartment. Important to Note (PLEASE READ): -To access the apartment, there is a slight downhill path around the house which includes a few steps. -This apartment borders along a forest. While we strive to keep the space immaculate, there are occasionally spiders and insects that sneak into the apartment. -With the central coast having a mild climate, there is no central heating, but the apartment is equipped with two space heaters and extra blankets. Extra space heaters are available upon request. -Due the vicinity of Highway 1, there may be some light distant traffic noise. However, it usually dies out at night. COVID-19 Response: Guest safety and health is our top priority. In response to COVID-19, we have opted into AirBnB’s enhanced cleaning protocol. This includes sanitizing all surfaces (including door knobs, light switches, appliances, etc.) and washing and sanitizing all bedding (including blankets and throw pillows). This hideaway is located in the Carmel Woods neighborhood, which is known for its artisan houses, ocean views, and woodsy setting. It is less than two miles from Carmel Beach, less than a mile from Forest Hills Park, and 1.3 miles from downtown Carmel. It is a 10 minute drive away from the Monterey County Airport, Pebble Beach Golf Course, and Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey. While a car is strongly recommended, there is a bus stop down the hill for Monterey-Salinas Transit routes 22, 24 and 94. Monterey Regional Airport (KMRY) is the closest airport and only a 10 minute drive away.
