Astra Beach House in Astrakeri Beach

Welcoming, beautifully located, cheerful, spacious and air-conditioned: Astra Beach House ticks all the boxes for a relaxing and inexpensive holiday close to one of the most lovely sandy beaches of Corfu: Astrakeri. This large, detached holiday home sleeps up to 18 guests in 10 bedrooms and is surrounded by a heaven of nature, yet being located just 2 min walk away from the beach (and an excellent beachfront taverna). The property has been recently modernized. The space Astra Beach House is a detached holiday villa, surrounded by extensive private grounds with lawn, shrubs, flowers, ancient olive trees. The accommodation is set over 2 floors (connected via an external staircase) . The interiors, cozy and welcoming, comprise in total 10 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen with dining area. The two floors of Astra Beach house are identical and feature, each, 5 air-conditioned bedrooms (2 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms, 1 single bedroom), a small kitchenette ideal for preparation of tea or snacks, and 2 family shower rooms. The layout of the villa and the truly huge gardens turn this property into the perfect choice for groups of friends or large families wanting great privacy at unbeatable rates. Outdoor dining areas and seating areas are available both in the front terrace and in the shaded kiosk at the back of the garden, where a fully equipped kitchen is also available (a barbecue is provided) therefore guests will be able to enjoy delicious meal and spend time together pampered by the refreshing evening breeze of north Corfu. NOTES: for the convenience of our guests, the price quoted includes: Wi-fi internet, cleanings, linen/towels, air-conditioning. A refundable security deposit for damages (in cash) of euros 300 is required on arrival and refunded at the end of the stay as long as no damages are done to the house. Other things to note On the 15th of December 2023, the Greek Government introduced a new tax on holiday rentals with the aim to fight the climate emergency. The new “climate resilience tax” bacame effective in 2024 and will be consequently increased from 1st of January 2025 to the foreseen amount of 2 euros per property per night for studios and apartments and 15 euros per property per night for villas and large holiday homes (details are still under review, and official figure for each specific property will be added to the pre arrival info for all our guests). Therefore, for example, a stay of 7 nights in a villa during 2025 summer (non depending on the number of guests staying) will have a total climate resilience tax of euros 105. For all the existing and future reservations, the amount will be payable locally on arrival. Despite being this a sudden decision, which caused a considerable surprise in ourselves, we are therefore obliged to comply with the new regulation informing all our present and future guests of this extra charge.
