This luxurious home is within walking distance of the universities , hospitals, the harbourfront, and the bustling downtown. The space The home is a spacious three story Victorian duplex that has been meticulously renovated to retain many of the original period accents while adding modern amenities . The home is designed for entertaining and many guests have hosted large family gatherings and cocktail parties at the property. There is a beautiful living room with high end furnishings and a TV that is hidden in a cabinet visualized only with a remote control. Hardwood floors, crown mouldings and large baseboards add elegance to the room and reflect the period in which the home was built . The living area is separated from the dining area and 8 person table by large wooden vintage pocket doors that can provide privacy while the chef prepares a gourmet meal in the beautiful kitchen . The kitchen features heated marble floors, stainless steel appliances and custom cherry cabinetry. There is a gas stove for the chef to create their masterpiece or to plate any of the delicious food that can be purchased or ordered in from local restaurants . Morning coffee or cocktails can be enjoyed on the backyard deck area where there is a table, chairs, a small sectional couch and a BBQ/Grill. The bedrooms offer a variety of styles. The second floor features two beautiful large bedrooms with two queen beds . There are period fireplaces ( non functioning ) with built in closets and expansive windows that can be opened to enjoy the east coast fresh air . The third bedroom on the second floor is smaller . It has a sleigh style queen bed and a dresser . It has one large window in the room and a dresser. The third floor presents the grand spa like bathroom with large glass shower and original cast iron tub that has been lovingly restored . The bedroom on this floor is also very spacious. There is a queen bed and a twin bed that is dressed as a day bed but can be prepared for sleeping if further sleeping space is needed. The bedroom has hardwood floors, large windows and space to relax . Please note there is a bathroom on each of the bedroom floors . There is no bathroom on the main level. Guest access Our hope is that guests will treat this place as their own when they stay and there is unlimited access to all parts of the house. Other things to note If relaxing and or entertaining is on your priority list , the Sobey’s grocery store and the NS liquor store are literally 1-2 minute walk away down a pathway . They are hidden from view however . Perfect for the few items you may need on a daily basis . Please note it is a residential neighbourhood and there are adjacent tenants and neighbours .
