Welcome to the Inn at High Falls! 'The Loft' is our newly renovated barn that features an open floor plan that is perfect to stretch out and relax in a rejuvenating country setting. Please walk in, kick off your shoes, and leave your worries at the front door! Have a great stay! We recently renovated 'The Loft' with a flare toward 'country chic' by combing farmhouse style with industrial accents. As you walk in, you will be enchanted by large windows overlooking the Inn's property as well as our farm across the road. From the great windows in the living space you will immediately notice the views of our 1800 dairy barn as well as Mohonk Mountain with seasonal views of the Tower. There is a fully equipped kitchen that is perfect to cook in. The open bedroom for The Loft is on the second floor looking down on to the entire living space. In addition to the common yard with a fire pit, The Loft also comes with a private screened in porch with a lounge area and dining area . There is one bathroom, nicely appointed with a large walk in tile shower. In the event you need extra sleeping, one of the couches opens to a queen size bed. Always available via phone, email or text message. Our area features many things to do. In the welcome book in the living room lists many things to do. The Hudson Valley is fortunate to have great eating establishments, some of which boats chefs who trained at the Culinary Institute of America which is less than an hour away in Poughkeepsie. There are many local farm stands in our part of the Hudson Valley to explore. Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park are minutes away and offer some of the most spectacular hiking you could imagine. The “Gunks”, famous for their challenging rock climbing are 20 minutes away. There is great antiquing in New Paltz, High Falls and Stone Ridge, all less than 15-20 minutes away. Kingston, the original capital of the state of New York, has a rich history and Woodstock a rich tradition in the arts, both of which are less than 30 minutes away. ***************************** Update As Of March 24, 2022********************* To enhance our guest's stay we updated our water system on March 24, 2022.
