Description
The Pickering House is a Civil War era home built by an sea captain and boasts over 3000 sq feet of Down East charm. It has been fully and tastefully restored. Guests enjoy a true gourmet kitchen, hardwood floors, fireplaces, tin ceilings & luxurious bedding. The house is situated on a gentle sloping hill across the street from Northwest Harbor and is just a few minute walk to historic village of Deer Isle. The property is perfect for larger families & group gatherings of up to 10. The space Guests have access to the entire house and grounds and are encouraged to take my deeded path back to Lily Pond for a swim. During July and August rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Other things to note Dog's of all sizes and ages are accepted with pre-approval and a $150 non refundable deposit. Returning dogs in good standing only require a $25 fee.
