Achill Island has five beautiful Blue Flag beaches to choose from: Keem Bay, Kell Strand, Dooega, Golden Strand, and Dugort, all of which are easily accessible from this seaside holiday home. Achill Sound Holiday Village No 11 – Sleeps 4 Achill Sound Holiday Village No 11 is a bright and comfortable holiday home with scenic ocean views from the rear of the holiday home. This seaside holiday home has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 guests Property layout – Ground floor: - Open Plan Kitchen - Dining area - Living room with open fire - Bedroom 1: double sleeping 2 - Bedroom 2: twin sleeping 2 - Family bathroom with overhead shower, hand basin & Wc There is a shared large green with wonderful sea views outside this lovely seaside holiday home. Relax or dine alfresco on the garden furniture while admiring the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. Wifi available. Towels are provided within the home. Local area & Tourist Attractions Achill’s rugged landscape lends itself perfectly to a variety of outdoor activities. Things to do in the local area: - Hill Walking on Slievemore & Croaghaun - Sea angling in the Atlantic & Clew Bay - Fishing in lakes - Swimming - The Great Western Greenway: 42km long track for cyclists, walkers and runners - Visit Westport - The Achill Experience Aquarium & Museum - Achill Island Distillery - Drive the Achill Island’s Atlantic Drive - Annagh Bay IMPORTANT NOTES1. Heating and Electricity: Depending on the location of your booking, a non-refundable Utility Contribution of €40 may apply. If applicable, this charge is paid with your holiday balance and will appear in your payment breakdown. If no Utility Contribution is shown on your booking, we recommend contacting our call centre to confirm how utility charges are applied, as this can vary by location. If the €40 Utility Contribution has been charged, any additional utility costs will be handled in one of the following ways: - Paid locally to the Owner or Property Manager. Please check with them directly, as the calculation method varies by property. - Pay As You Go electricity meter. The €40 will be credited to the meter on the first day of your stay, and you will need to top up the meter as required during your stay. Please note that gas or oil charges, where applicable, are always payable locally based on usage and are not included in the amount paid at the time of booking. 2. Security Deposit: A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid before check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property. 3. Towels: Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details at the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).
