Whether you are looking to spend time discovering the splendor of Amboise with it’s beautiful Chateau and the home to Leonardi da Vinci or to visit the amazing Chateaux at Chenonceau, Chambord or Villandry, or whether you are looking to discover the wonderful wines of Val de Loire – Vouvray, Mont Louis, Touraine – your base, at the heart of the Loire Valley will not disappoint. Guest access 8kms from Amboise and Chateau Chenonceau, our chalet is situated in 9000m2 of beautiful woodland at the centre of the Loire Valley and entered by a private gate. You will have access to all of the surrounding area, they have a private terrace and lots of outside space for eating, drinking and playing games with full access to ping pong table, dart board, petanque, bicycles and can easily access the vineyards at the back of the property for stunning walks or runs. There is a large stock of logs to keep the log fire burning or the Barbecue 'Cheminee' stoked. For cycling enthusiasts, this is the perfect base for discovering the many beautifully mapped out cycle routes around 'La Vallee de la Loire' – the Loire Valley. Other things to note Breakfast is not provided daily however we supply some basics such as jams, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The Chalet is also stocked with condiments such as salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar, sugar to make your stay with us even more comfortable. We have animals on the domain: a dog, 2 cats and chickens that wander freely. If you come with a dog, please let us know as the dog really must be used to chickens. Our duvets are feather and goose down filled; If you have feathers allergies, please let us know as we can remove the double duvet and replace it with a synthetic version.
