Deer Lodge by StayHelen is a private North Georgia mountain retreat just up the hill from Serenity Cellars Winery and about 10 minutes from downtown Helen. Enjoy beautiful mountain views, a private hot tub, barrel sauna, screened porch, game room, and peaceful backyard—close to Helen, wineries, hiking, and everything North Georgia has to offer. The space Deer Lodge is designed for relaxing mountain getaways with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy together. This level also includes the screened porch and a half bathroom. Second level A private bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom, and balcony access overlooking the mountain setting. Lower level The finished basement includes another king bedroom, full bathroom, pull-out sofa, game area, and direct access to the backyard. Outdoor living Spend your mornings enjoying the mountain setting from the screened porch and your evenings soaking in the hot tub, relaxing in the barrel sauna, grilling dinner, or gathering around the fire pit. Location Serenity Cellars Winery is just down the hill, and downtown Helen is about 10 minutes away. You’ll also be close to wineries, hiking, waterfalls, restaurants, shops, and other North Georgia attractions. Guest access There are enclosed space used for storage that guests don't have access. This will be marked as Owners Closet. Other things to note *PLEASE NOTE: We are in the woods and on a mountain. The terrain is steep in some areas and there have been BEAR SIGHTINGS. Some parts of the cabin have limited cell phone reception. For better reception you can take the stairs to the second floor bedroom or walk up the drive way. String lights. Per HOA rules and regulations string lights must be off by 10 pm. These are on a timer. They go on around sunset and turn off 10 P.M everyday. We charge $100.00 pet fee. Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form and sign & agree to our rental conditions.
