Lake Willoughby is a special place. The view is breathtaking and the fun never stops! From swimming in the lake, kayaking, walking along the beach, sitting by the fire at night, or head over to the bunkhouse for family movie night, you will have endless activities to keep you busy! The wrap around porch gives you breathtaking views of the lake and is a perfect place to have your morning coffee. The private beach is zero entry for about 100 ft out! *We do not rent on Craigs list* Inside the house on the first floor is an open living room, dining room and sitting area that provides a view of the lake from any angle and plenty of space to relax. The kitchen has plenty of cabinet space and all kitchen utensils you will need. There is also 1 full bath on the first floor. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and 1 full bath. Outside you can enjoy over 200 feet of private waterfront, 100 feet of private beach, and a private dock. Take a kayak or paddle board out for an activity but be sure to check the wind so you can make it back!! After enjoying the beach and water all day you can head over to the other side of the house where you will find a space to grill and eat outside on the deck by the bunkhouse. In the evening enjoy sitting by the outside fire or having family game/movie night in the bunk house. There are 2 staircases down to the house. Please use the one on the right closest to the garage. Be careful if its raining the stairs are slippery. There is also an entrance on the second floor that is convenient for bringing luggage right to the bedrooms. ( you can open from the inside after you go in the bottom entrance) I will be available by phone or text for questions during your stay. Info will be provided 48 hours prior to check in. There are multiple mountains nearby to go for a hike. Mt.Pisagh, Mt. Hor, Bald Mtn, Wheeler Mtn, and Moose Mtn. are a few. There are trail books/guides on the book shelf next to the fireplace. The Willoughby Lake store is a great convenience store if you forgot anything. It also has a great ice cream store attached and outdoor dining! A few minuets away in Barton is a full service supermarket called C&C. There are water crafts available for use under the garage. The key for the padlock is on the key ring for the house. Please lock and put away all crafts before checkout. Cellular service is spotty at best. ATT and Tmobile seem to get the best service around the lake but thats even spotty. There is Wifi in the house so you can stay "connected" There are no events/ parties/ hosting allowed on the property. No Guests other than the ones on the reservation are allowed. *We do not rent on craigs list*
