Paper towels and sponge are provided. • Crockpot, blender, roasting pan, and hand mixer are available as well as your pots and pans for preparing a home cooked meal. BATH • 2 bathrooms- one on main level, other is downstairs on lower level. • Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soaps • Bath towels are provided for all guests with extras available in laundry room • Upstairs bathroom features a tub/shower combo. Downstairs bathroom is a stand up shower stall. DECK • Propane firepit table for evening conversation under the stars • Bring the telescope outside and experience the beautiful night sky • Blackstone grill with accessories for grilling a delicious meal • Enjoy your meal outside with the best view around • Corn hole game and spiral slide off the deck for endless fun for the kiddos • Deck is fully enclosed with a gate that locks shut, so you can relax knowing your dog is secure on the deck • Porch swing, playground swing and additional seating under the deck to enjoy the daily visits from deer in the yard. The beanbag chair also opens up for a fun extra sleeping space for kids. •Private balcony •Please note that by design, this loft space does get a little warmer in the summer months, so for that reason, we recommend keeping the ceiling fan and floor fan running for additional comfort. Guests will have access to the entire home. There is a laundry room available for guest use. Guests can take advantage of the community boat launch area which is a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the house. Fishing and swimming are allowed off the shore and there is a boat launch if you are bringing a lake toy. Your host, Melissa, is always available by phone at any time leading up to or during your stay. Buckhaven is a family-friendly neighborhood along beautiful South Holston lake. The neighborhood offers lake access to owners and their guests at the common area and boat launch at the end of Lakeshore Drive. Docks are privately owned, but guests can access the lake for swimming, fishing or boating from the shoreline. Please observe posted speed limits and be courteous of our neighbors. The driveway offers 4 parking spaces for guests and their vehicles/lake toys. Although there are no sidewalks in the neighborhood, these are residential streets and are walking-friendly. You can walk (10-15 min) or drive (2 min) to the neighborhood lake access from the house. 4 cars maximum per stay Only guests on reservation allowed at house- no outside guests allowed. Sorry, no motorcycles The cabin is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood setting and is a scenic 15 minute drive into town. Wake up to deer in the yard and sip your coffee while watching the sunrise above the lake. Ride the Virginia Creeper Trail, fish down by the lake, enjoy an afternoon at Abingdon Vineyards and dine at one of the many locally owned restaurants downtown. We are a short drive to Damascus and Bristol, so you can enjoy all of the events and conveniences that are nearby while having a quiet place to retreat to at the end of the day. The nearest skiing/tubing is about an hour away at Sugar and Beech Mountains. Whether you are looking for rest and relaxation or up for adventure, this cabin is the perfect home-base for your group.
