Waterfront Cabin - Homer Seaplane Base

The Homer Seaplane Base is located right on Beluga Lake in the Heart of Homer. Offering six cabins, and four suites, we provide guests the unique opportunity to stay at a fully functioning seaplane base. Guests are encouraged to visit our on-site restaurant, " Water Rudders,” which offers a wide selection of beer, wine, and delicious fare. Guests looking for a bit of adventure should contact our partner Beryl Air, located on-site, just steps away from your front door. The space Our Waterfront Cabin offers a king-size bed in the main bedroom and a full sleeper sofa in the living room providing accommodations for up to 4 guests. The cabin also offers a full kitchen, including a microwave, stovetop with oven, 12-cup drip coffee maker, and basic cooking essentials. A Smart TV is located in the common area. Guests will also enjoy the residential washer and dryer located in the bathroom with a walk-in shower. Please note the hot and cold handle in the shower for this unit is reversed. Guest access The cabin is private and entirely yours during your stay. You will check yourself in using our keyless entry keypad located on the front door of the cabin. Please note you must use stairs to access the entrance of the cabin. You will also use stairs to access the common areas around the property. Parking is available in our dedicated gravel lot. We encourage guests to park at the top of the lot near the road. However, we ask that you do not block the dumpster. The Waterfront cabin is the red cabin located on the west side of the property at the base of the complex on the lake. There is a sign near the front door that indicates "Waterfront Cabin". You will be a 1-2 walk from the parking lot. If you would like to load/unload your items closer to the cabin, just follow the driveway towards the lake. Please keep loading time to a minimum. Other things to note The Homer Seaplane Base is a fully functioning seaplane base and facilitates lodging accommodations, a restaurant, an event space, and floatplane tours. We have multiple units located at the seaplane base, and you are welcome to use any of the designated common areas on the property. Keep in mind amenities such as the fire pit, onsite restaurant, and floatplane tours operate seasonally.
