Holiday house in the beautiful Småland

Since almost 30 years we are coming back here every year to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Swedish nature. Our cosy house is close to stunning lakes you can spend the whole day, hike through beautiful forests, go fishing or shopping in Kalmar, Oskarshamn etc. There are a lot of tourist attractions: Dresin, Astrid-Lindgrens-Värld, Skiing in Winter, Älg-Park, Glasbruk, lots of swedish cafés or "butiks". The space Our parents bought this house 30 years ago and spend a lot of energy to make it nice and cosy, while preserving the a Swedish style. It is perfect for a family of 5. We are inviting you to spend your time in this house, while we are not using it on our own. It has a comfy living room with a couch and a fireplace, eating table for 6. In a separate kitchen you find everything you need. The 2 bedrooms have a double bed and 3 beds (1 bunk bed for 2 and a separate one). There is a bathroom with a shower. The large covered terrace can be used all day during summer or to sip your coffee in autumn or winter days. In the basement you will find a large bathroom with a bathtub and washing machine. There is a room used as an office or guest room as well as a 3rd bedroom with a double bed. Windows make it very bright. The house has air condition so you cool down on hot Swedish summer days or warm up on colder days. The large garden has plenty of space for all types of activity. A coal and a gas grill can be found in the shed. You can also park your bike in here. Your car can park on the property as well. The house is located in idyllic Småland, typical Sweden with its forests and lakes. Where the stories of Astrid Lindgren were written (half an hour away). Several swimming lakes are nearby, beautiful nature invites you to hike and moose can be found not only in the nearby moose park. Small and large towns invite you to stroll and store (Kalmar, Oskarshamn, Virserum, ...). In winter you can skate for free or go cross-country skiing. There are even 2 ski areas with lifts. Other things to note We provide one set of bed linen and towels per person, which are included in the price. Before departure the house should be cleaned properly so the next guests can enjoy it again.
