Mayberry mansion Historic Dist downtown Claremore

Built in 1931, Mayberry Mansion stood proudly on the corner of 4th & Choctaw for decades. In the early 1900s, 4th Street was referred to as Silk Stocking Rd, due to the number of notable families who lived there. Mayberry neighbors included Bayless family/Belvidere Mansion, newspaper pub. HT Brown, Dr. Bushyhead, son of Cherokee Principal Chief. The home was in Mayberry family from 1931-1999. Recently we have had Time magazine investigates, A & E documentaries & a Rap video filmed here in 2021. The space The Mayberry Mansion features three floors, five bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, living and dining rooms, a bar area and…a telephone booth. There are even some hidden rooms in the house, as well as a basement. Events are an extra charge please discuss with the host pryor to booking.
