Centrally located and thoughtfully set out, The Terracotta Palace has the charm of an old beach shack with the functionality of a chic hotel room, ready to service any type of Peninsula getaway, do it all or do nothing at all! Adventure is on your doorstep.... so is The Peninsula Hot Springs, just an 8 minutes drive. Walk across the road to Penni Ave Distillery, our local secret, a boutique vodka bar and/or early morning coffee spot - choose your own adventure.... The space Outdoor We recommend starting your day on the sun lit main deck, a coffee and newspaper on hand from across the road, it's a must! The expansive main deck ranges from full morning sun to tree filtered afternoon light, lay in the sun lounges next to the herb garden or make use of the 10 seater outdoor setting to wine, dine, host and toast. Other features of the main are a mud kitchen and shell pool for the little ones. Dining Coming off the deck into the main entertaining area - kitchen/dining. The dining room features a pendant lit corner booth, set around a modern 8 seat dining table, we've spent many a night bunched up playing games and sharing meals here. Other features of this space is a chaise by the window. Hot tip: Put a record on and spread out on the chaise by the window in the afternoon sun . Kitchen The well equipped kitchen features a 4 burner gas stove top and oven, Miele dishwasher, Thermomix, Global knives and soda stream. We're happy to share a well-stocked pantry with you - spices from every corner of the globe. Bedroom 1 The spacious main bedroom features a king size bed with boutique linen bedding, dimmable bedside lights and charging plus sliding doors out to the main deck. Open the doors, jump back in bed and watch the sun drench the garden in warm morning light. The Master bedroom also has a 50 inch Samsung Frame smart TV fitted to the wall - though often mistaken for art ;) Main ensuite Attached to the master bedroom is a large ensuite, grab the magnesium salts from under the sink and soak it up in the comfy bathtub, the bath caddy fits an iPad and glass of wine - how naughty! Bedroom 2 Our light filled second bedroom features a double sized sofa bed with boutique linen bedding and a small wardrobe. The rattan sliding door offers screening, but please note that it is somewhat see-through from either side. Bedroom 3 Welcome to kiddie land! The kid's quarters features a plush king single bunk bed with foam mattress beneath. Get the kids into our extensive book collection or any of the toys in the toy box. This room also features its own ensuite with shower and toilet - the kids can mess up their own bathroom. Living/Lounge Room Situated at the main entry of the house the low-key lounge room - our favourite winter space. Whether you're facing the warm open fire or the camouflaged 55 inch Samsung frame smart TV, the King Furniture corner lounge is your perfect perch. Enjoy use of streaming favourites if you have a login or use our complimentary “stremio” service. The linen 'Glam Swag' can be used like a bean-bag or put it on the lounge to make an extra sleeping space if need-be. Laundry Miele washer and dryer with seperate toilet and wash facilities, plus access to outside service area.
