Watch the deer as you sip your morning coffee on the porch. Hike up the wooded hillside along trickling streams. Stargaze without a trace of light pollution on the multi-level back deck. The space With a rustic/industrial vibe, our newly renovated and spacious home invites you to unwind, reconnect, and make great memories. Living & Entertainment: Relax in the living room by the cozy wood-burning fireplace and stream your favorites on the TV (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video & Roku). The separate game room features a foosball table and a record player for hours of fun. The game room also has a lovely couch that transforms into a bed - add the included mattress cover for comfort that is truly next level! Kitchen & Dining: Cook up a memorable meal in the spacious and cheerful, fully-equipped kitchen. The coffee bar includes locally roasted beans, coffee grinder, conventional coffee brewer, plus a Keurig single-cup machine. Bedrooms & Bathrooms: The home comfortably sleeps your group in four uniquely themed rooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, TV, and a dedicated workspace for remote work. The Woods and Stable bedrooms each offer comfortable queen beds. The Lake room is perfect for kids with a twin bunk bed and an assortment of toys (for ages 2-10). A Pack ’n Play and high chair are also available for our littlest guests. Outdoor Living: Explore 10 private, wooded acres right from your back door. Hike up the hillside along trickling seasonal streams, wander out to the pond, or search for crystals in the woods. As evening falls, gather around the fire pit and listen to the symphony of frogs, crickets, and birds. The night sky at the Grotto is blissfully free of artificial light and perfect for stargazing. THE NEIGHBORHOOD The Grotto is your basecamp for adventure. You are just a short drive from: -Ouachita National Forest -Lake Ouachita & the South Fork of the Ouachita River -Numerous mountain bike trails, including two epic-rated trails -Local crystal mines -The charming town of Mt. Ida, with local eateries and the Heritage House Museum GETTING AROUND A car is recommended to explore all the area has to offer. The historic city of Hot Springs, with its famous bathhouses, shopping, and restaurants, is a scenic 50-minute drive away. For essentials, Bob's Food City grocery store is just a five-minute drive from the property. Guest access The entire main floor of the home is yours to enjoy. The basement/garage is the only restricted area with no guest access. Other things to note The Grotto is secluded at the end of a country road. It is a quiet, tranquil spot and, as good neighbors, we strive to keep the area a peaceful retreat for all who call it home.
