From this side of Ulvdal you have direct access to one of the largest high mountain plateaus in Northern Europe, which offers many spectacular experiences all year round. Rafting, cycling, an amusement park or Langedrag Nature Park are nearby and can be undertaken. In Nore and Uvdal there are many fishing opportunities, either down in the valley with Numedalslågen or the associated fjords. In winter, Uvdal is a winter paradise with over 400 km of cross-country ski trails both on the plain and in the valley and you can start right outside the door. At the cottage you will find a sled that you can rent. Also pack your cross-country skis, backpack and thermos and head out. Uvdal ski center, not far from the cottage.
