Cozy Cabin on 25 acres in the Great North Woods

The cozy mountain cabin we call “Cedar house” -- due to its proximity to a copse of beautiful cedar trees -- is just the place to settle in for a true getaway from it all! Relax and read a book or take a hike on the various trails in the area and on the property. This intimate 1 bedroom is surprisingly open and spacious -- a perfect place to relax after a day’s adventure hiking, snowmobiling, skiing, or peeping at the stunning fall foliage. The space Our main goal for this place is to provide a space for one to take a moment, just breathe and reconnect to what matters to you. If there is a way that we can facilitate you having an even more amazing experience we want to try to do that so please ask! We look forward to sharing this little oasis with you and your loved ones. Note: this unit is above a garage not for guest use. Guest access Guests are welcomed to walk the property but be aware that there is another unit up the steep driveway where there may be other guests whose privacy should be respected. Note: trails through the woods are not complete and will sometimes require walking through higher grass so make sure to bring hiking boots! Garage is used for storage and unfortunately is not for guest use. Other things to note We listed the bed as a "double bed" but its actually two singles pushed together. Couples seem to like it fine and it provides flexibility incase a guest would like to push them apart and treat them as singles. Let us know and we can try to help accommodate your needs. Also, if snow is in the forecast, a 4WD vehicle is recommended to get over the small hill at the start of the driveway to the cabin.
