Salcombe is 4 miles by road or a stunning walk along the coastal path. There are numerous sandy beaches within 10 mins drive, including Hope Cove, South Milton and Bantham. The space The open plan living area (including kitchen) opens out to a decked area which has a table and chairs, perfect for alfresco dining whilst taking in the spectacular sea view. There are 3 bedrooms (King, Twin & Single) and all are well appointed with two including wall mounted televisions, and all having built in wardrobes and storage. Sea Escape has two bathrooms one with a walk in shower and the other with bath. There are plenty of walking opportunities direct from the lodge on the nearby coastline which goes both ways and boasts breath-taking views. Salcombe is absolutely worth a visit, surrounded by sun-soaked beaches and sparkling seas. A 10-minute drive or exhilarating hike on South West Coastal Path from Sea Escape, Salcombe is set back from the water and is a short walk, sail boat, paddleboard ride to some of Devon’s safest and prettiest swimming beaches. Salcombe is one of the most picturesque towns in the area, offering plenty of eateries and shops and stunning views down the estuary. If you need to grab any essentials (mini- supermarket, petrol station, post office) the village of Malborough is a 5-minute drive. It also has two pubs and a family run locally orientated Farm Shop that includes a cafe. If you love the hustle and bustle of a traditional English market town, you’ll love Kingsbridge. It's a 10-minute drive from Sea Escape and sits on the Kingsbridge Estuary and is surrounded by green rolling countryside, making it a popular destination for walking and sailing all year round. Fore Street hosts a number of quality independent shops, and good eateries and coffee shops can be found around the town.
