Other things to note Age Requirement All guests must be 25 years of age or older, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Mountain Wildlife The Mountain Gem sits in the heart of nature, and that means you're sharing the mountains with their wild residents — including bears, deer, and the occasional curious critter. Sightings are part of the authentic Smoky Mountain experience! We recommend storing food properly and enjoying the wildlife from a distance. The same is true for any cabin in the Smokies. The Driveway The cabin has a steeper paved driveway — We always recommend 4WD or AWD! Although it's fully navigable in a standard car. Just take it slow and enjoy the arrival!
