On the Calfkiller River! Comfortable, quiet relaxing home for 6 guests with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a beautiful view and access to the river. 10 minutes to downtown Sparta! Sparta is also well-known as an excellent kayaking and hiking area with several rivers and falls nearby. Other nearby attractions: Calfkiller Brewery, Northfield Vineyards, Rock Island, Fall Creek Falls, Burgess Falls, & Center Hill Lake. If you're looking for a fun get-away, close to downtown, then look no further! The space *Please read entire description before booking!* BEDROOMS: *Bedroom #1: King bed, TV, full bathroom. *Bedroom #2: Queen bed, full bathroom down the hall. *Bedroom #3 (upstairs): Queen bed, separate loft area with couch and TV, full bathroom. COMMON SPACES: *Living room/dining room contains a couch, four chairs, TV and dining table and chairs. *Full kitchen with 2 sinks, ‘fridge, dishwasher, oven range, and a breakfast nook. PARKING: *On site parking to accommodate up to 3 vehicles. PETS: *Unfortunately, we do not allow pets to stay at The River House. Please see other details below to note. AMENITIES: *River access to The Calfkiller River *Internet/WIFI available *Fire-pit right near the BBQ area *Two Kayaks w/ paddles *Charcoal BBQ located on the side of the house *Full-sized washer and dryer. *Outside there is a wonderful deck with seating overlooking The Calfkiller River Guest access Parking is in the driveway beside the River House. Other things to note Internet available. Bring your ID/PW to use the Firesticks for Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc. Your stay may include fresh eggs, tomatoes, squash or corn (depending on availability) from the hosts’ garden, next door. You may see free-range chickens, a dog and a couple cats while visiting. No pets, no smoking, and no events. Bring your own kayaks or contact a local guide. We also provide two kayaks to use during your stay. The Calfkiller contains catfish, muskie and bass, so bring your poles and your fishing license!
