Welcome to Mischief Creek. We are nestled in the gorgeous hills of Wimberley Texas. Our 5-acre ranch is one of a kind and will be sure to satisfy all your needs; whether it’s a family retreat or a nature-inspired getaway with friends. We offer a hot tub, cowboy pool, Geodome, bocce ball, cornhole set, putting strip, pool table, wet bar, Tv’s in the barn for sports, shuffleboard, arcade games, board games, a walking trail around the entire 5 acres, and fire pit! Mischief Creek is truly a one-stop wonder! Take the time to decompress from the everyday hustle and bustle! At MC you can unwind by sitting under the stars, roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, and waking up to the peaceful sounds of the creek running through the ranch. You can also bring out the inner kid in you and have fun in the arcade, play pool, bocce ball, cornhole, shuffleboard, board games, or washers! The world is your oyster here at Mischief Creek! You will have full access to the main house, unique geodome, peaceful casita, game barn, and the surrounding property on which it sits. Even out in the country, you’ll have plenty to do! Enjoy our property by walking the trail around the entire 5 acres! Plus there is a large picnic area to enjoy lunch & dinner! We also offer an outdoor grill (the gas is on us!). The main house comfortably sleeps 8 with the option of additional children making beds on the floor in the living room area, should guests choose to bring their own sleeping bags. We also offer a pack n' play for the littles! There are 3 bedrooms in the main house: the first bedroom is right off the kitchen which has 2 bunk beds, the 2nd room has a queen bed, and the 3rd room with a king-size bed and a reading nook. We also have an incredible unique GeoDome on our property which sleeps 4 across 1 king-size bed and 1 queen-size bed in the loft. The dome also features a full bathroom and kitchenette with a fridge, griddle, coffeemaker, and toaster oven. The dome also has its own deck and 8' Cowboy Pool for your use. The last sleeping space is offered in our Casita! It sleeps 4 with a queen bed and a hide-away bed in the sofa. Please note that the casita does not have a bathroom in it. Fire Pit - Please note that you will need to supply your own firewood for the fire pit, but several places in town carry wood including most gas stations and HEB. Barn - Please note the barn does not have A/C, however, it does have two small space heaters for the winter. So depending on outdoor temperatures, the barn temp can vary. The space heaters depending on the weather are only there to keep warm while close to them. As the barn is open, they will not heat the entire barn. There are two large ceiling fans for warmer days and a HUGE floor fan! The barn also has two bar refrigerators. Our kitchen is fully stocked and comes with all the essentials for cooking including a spice rack, tin foil, wax paper, olive oil cooking spray, etc.! There are even firestarters & lighters located in the kitchen for the firepit. We are also conveniently located less than 10 minutes from downtown, as well as close to many Wimberley wineries, bars, and restaurants. Guest Access is provided to the main house via a keypad. Keys for the Casita and Barn will be located in the house. There will also be a separate keypad on the GeoDome. We are nestled in the rolling hills of Texas Hill Country. From our back porch, you'll have a scenic view of our private pond, tons of trees and even from time to time our neighbor's cows and goats! We are 10 minutes from downtown Wimberley which offers plenty of cute shops, restaurants, bars, and HEB Grocery Store. As we are pretty remote UBER and Food Delivery Services typically do not reach us, so plan accordingly. GEODOME: The dome is designed to provide a natural and airy atmosphere, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. You can spend your days lounging on the deck, taking a dip in the cowboy pool, or soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the peaceful scenery. The dome a features stocked kitchen nook including a mini fridge/freezer, coffee pot, griddle, and toaster oven. While we do not have an oven inside, we do offer a propane grill on the outside deck for your grilling needs! You'll also find a Bluetooth speaker, flat-screen TV, and wifi (although we hope you won't need it during your stay, also note that wifi speeds can vary as we're in a very rural area) Please note that while our property does allow approved pets, they are not allowed in the dome. CASITA: Please note that the Casita DOES NOT HAVE A BATHROOM. If you're staying in the casita you will have to use the bathroom inside the house. SEPTIC SYSTEM: Please do not flush any feminine products or non-degradable items down the toilet or huge amounts of toilet paper at one time. Toilet paper only may be flushed. Don't ruin your stay by having this happen to you. Tell your family! Dispose of kitchen grease in the kitchen trash when cool. Extra charges apply if you don't comply, and we have to call in a plumber. PLEASE ADVISE EVERYONE IN YOUR GROUP. WILDLIFE: Our house is on a 5-acre ranch in rural Texas. Critters, crawlers, snakes, fire ants, etc. are a part of nature and are possible findings on the property. Please always be careful to watch your step and going barefoot is NOT recommended. If ever needed there is a first-aid kit under the kitchen sink. Fire Pit: You must supply your own wood for the fire pit. There are several gas stations and HEB that all have wood available in Wimberley. SHOE RULE: Please take your shoes off in the main house, dome and casita. It’s the country y’all and walking from each building on the property can be a little muddy. It helps us tremendously to keep our home so fresh and so clean clean clean. Thanks in advance!
