If you particularly want a fireplace in winter, this loft does not have one so consider booking Loft 1 in the winter months. The space Loft 2 here at Randells Mill is a Self contained Apartment with the Mill. Listed in Good Weekend’s 52 Weekends away for 2022. It’s not your average Airbnb, but something altogether unique. It’s got a soaring ceiling and rustic roof trusses, old stone walls and gorgeous modern comforts. Old barn doors reveal a gorgeous bathroom with a restored clawfoot bath ready to sink into. Underfloor heating will keep you toasty warm in winter, as you sit back and relax, marvelling in this very special space. There are extra blankets, and throws, electric blanket and reverse cycle heating in the cooler months, but as it is the Hills, please bring appropriate warm clothing for your explorations. Full bathroom with resurfaced vintage clawfoot tub, full shower, gorgeous brass sink and tapware and private toilet area. The Loft is self catering but is supplied with tea, coffee pods and instant coffee, sugar, oil, salt, and small starter long life milk. A lovely farmhouse sink and dishwasher, microwave oven and two burner cooktop plus integrated bar fridge with freezer make up the lovely kitchen. A reverse cycle air conditioner is here for your comfort and enjoyment. Soft lighting is a feature of this Loft, for relaxation so no harsh lighting here to spoil your romantic stay. All self contained and self catering for your peace and privacy. Supermarkets are located in either Birdwood or Lobethal for provisions. Walk to the local pub or cafe for meals or simply relax in the courtyard. Guest access Guests enjoy the whole self contained apartment and share the large sheltered courtyard with Loft 1 Other things to note You can easily walk to local cafes and cellardoor. There are stairs and ponds on the property to be aware of. We have alpacas in the fields behind the Mill, so you are welcome to wander, just please close gates behind you. Wear suitable warm clothing and use heating and water wisely please. We will endeavour to turn on heating or cooling before your stay depending on the weather but at times are unable to do so.
