A mile from town center and 1.8 miles to Wooden Boat School. Sailing, hiking, kayaking, swimming, biking, art galleries await you from this great location. Monthly or weekly rentals only (Sunday to Sunday). No pets/no smoking. The space You will not find a more delightful waterfront location in the area. Guests have commented that this is the nicest place that can be found. Property sits on ten private acres at the end of a long, quiet lane with wonderful views of Herrick Bay from the large deck. The apartment has recently been upgraded and is charming and comfortable. Look out across the deck and you will be spellbound by the variety of wildlife. We have two eagles and their young nesting just across the water. Ospreys, herons, and other shore birds are frequent visitors, and adorable harbor seals often can be seen swimming just feet from the shoreline. Photographers and artists will find inspiration from the glorious sunrises and sunsets visible from the deck. If you bring a kayak, you can launch it from our property into Herrick Bay. Guest access There is a private entrance. In addition to the cottage, guests have full use of a large breezeway and huge waterside deck and also are welcome to enjoy the grounds and gardens.
