Experience nature, action, sports and recreation in the area around the Kleine Freiheit. It is located within walking distance of the Bocksberg cable car, as well as the chairlift. Nearby are: a playground with a water ride directly in the spa park in front of the house, a water playground at the upper Flößteich (about 2.5 km), a mini golf course, the Holzstabkirche, the Liebesbank, the Kuttelbacher Teich (swimming lake with boat rental), all very easily reachable on foot, the mountain town of Lautenthal, the Johanneser Bergwiesen Nature Reserve and the Waldseebad about 5 km, the Wolfshagen quarry, the mine with a mine train in Rammelsberg about 6 km, and much more. Shopping: Rewe, Aldi, Lidl etc. are in Clausthal Zellerfeld about 8 km away. Otherwise, there is a small Tante Enso supermarket in Hahnenklee with limited opening hours a little behind the pedestrian zone on the left. Restaurants & cafés: 1894 Bistro & Bar, Restaurant China Town and Restaurant Piccolo Mondo are within a few minutes' walk, as is the Schoko am Kreuzeck (very nice view down by the lake). The Schnitzelkönig is located in Lautenthal (possibly with pre-order) Top attractions: Kaiserpfalz, Monchehaus museum for modern art, clock museum and stalactite cave in Bad Grund, a tin figure museum 19 km.
