Summary: ***Due to the State of Maine Mandate concerning COVID-19, we are able to host campers from Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, AND campers with a negative COVID test (within 72 hours) without restriction. However, campers from other locations, will need to review the current state mandate which may include a 14 day self quarantine. This mandate will likely be in place until September 2021. Perched on the banks of the Androscoggin River, this site is nestled in the trees yet provides beautiful river views. During the day, the site is great for napping in your hammock, hiking the trails, or exploring the river by boat. At night, the calling loons will lull you to sleep. Enjoy hiking and biking the miles of trails on our private 400 acres of forests, fields and river frontage. Bring your birding life list - we are sure you will see some new feathered friends to check off. Wildlife abounds both on the property and across the river at Riverlands State Park. The site is located just minutes from Lewiston-Auburn, Bates College, and local breweries. Quite often, a gentle breeze off the water will offer relief from black flies and mosquitoes, but the right bug repellent is recommended especially to fend off those pesky ticks that are so common in Maine.
