Creating space for you! Travelling with the family looking to unwind in the hot tub under the trees or relax by the crystal-clear waters of the heated lagoon pool. A place to snuggle up on the soft furnishings in the lounge or read a book on the patio listening to the birds. Visiting for business? "La Chaumiere" is a modern, cozy home with internet speeds of over 80 Mbps. A place where you can enjoy the peacefulness of nature and come back to relax after a day exploring the Moreton Bay Region. The space We built the house in 2022 as a holiday home, on the corner of our plot. It is a private property with it’s own access. The space is set up for one couple or a family of 5, plus a baby/toddler. The beds in the second room are a single over double bunk designed for children. The master bed and the Children’s room can accommodate for the travel cot (on site). There is a cozy comfortable lounge area with a TV and games boxes, books and word games for your entertainment. The fully fitted kitchen boasts an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge freezer and all cooking utensils. There is also cleaning equipment, a booster seat and cool bag for your day trips out. The patio has space to cook on the BBQ, eat at the table, lounge on the sofa or de-stress in the fenced off private hot tub. This patio area is screened off for your privacy and overlooks your grass area and areas of the pool can also be seen. The shared pool is heated and cleaned daily. There are sun loungers for relaxing and toys for the children to play with. The parking arrangement is for one vehicle. Please let us know if you are arriving in two vehicles so we can accommodate your off-road parking. Guest access The home has a private access gate and driveway. There is a patio at the back with a private hot tub, dining table and seating area, shrubbery along the neighbouring fence and a grass area off the patio. A screen has been provided for your added privacy. There is private access to the shared pool along a pathway at the rear of the property. This is your space in the corner of our plot. We ask that guests keep to the pool area and do not venture up the steps onto our patio and property. The hens at the back of the property would be happy to say hello but will be startled if someone goes into their coop or approaches them. They are occasionally allowed to free range just before sunset and may come over to the garden area near your property. A gentle shoo away will send them off. Please don’t try to pick them up. Our King Charles Cavalier, Ruby, is very friendly and may want to come and say hello. If you are uncomfortable with dogs then please let us know ahead of your stay. The rest of the plot is private and we would ask guests to please supervise children and keep them away from the wooden climbing areas, inside the vegetable patches and the leaf litter perimeters. Thank you. Other things to note We are privileged to have hens living on our plot and offer our guests eggs, bacon, bread, milk and cereal available at the house to welcome you and help you settle in on your first morning.
