New Construction! Entire Private Unit located in our Barn, now with a private fenced yard. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Our property is a quiet rural area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still within 15-20 minutes of city life and shopping. Your private unit is located in our brand new pole barn on our historic farm. It is a lower level unit that sleeps 4 and has 1 bedroom and 1 bath. The space You will be surrounded by open fields, trees and wildlife. We have a small flock of Icelandic sheep, Kunekune Pigs, chickens and a llama which is a guard animal for our sheep. You will be able to watch them in the pasture which is located behind the unit. You can also commonly see many species of wild animals such as birds, squirrels, rabbits, racoons, opossums, skunks, deer and coyote. In the surrounding areas there are many fields of agricultural crops and domestic livestock. You will have a private entrance to your own space. It is a new construction, which we built specifically for the purpose of an Airbnb, so you will find all the comforts you would like, while away from home, all in a rural setting. It has an open kitchen and living area with a bedroom and separate bathroom. We have high speed Wi-Fi to stay connected if you need to work or play and you can always feel free to unplug and relax. Guest access You will have access to the area behind our barn which includes a covered porch, large yard, fire pit and view of the pasture to the south and east. You can also feel free to use our swing set in front of the barn if you have little ones, but it is a shared area with our children and pets as well. Other things to note Our farm is a Hoosier Homestead Farm, which is an original homestead farm that has remained in the same family for over 150 years. We are the 6th and 7th generation living on our family farm. There is tons of history and local charm with privacy & relaxing sounds of nature.
