Morrone is a beautiful highland house. Sleeps 5-9. South-facing with spectacular views all around to Mountains. Double glazing & gas central heating. Well-equipped kitchen. Private sunny gardens. The space Morrone House is a well-furnished, traditional, Highland stone house, that has been recently renovated with full gas central heating, and double glazing. It has a double lounge and separate dining-room, so that there is lots of space for everyone. There is a large, well-equipped kitchen with a gas hob and electric oven, dish-washer, fridge, microwave oven and all the usually kitchen equipment, mixer, kettle, crockery etc. The dining-room has a large table and Jotul log-burning stove. The lounge is double length with three sofas, a rocking chair and window seats. One of the sofas is an expensive, sprung, double bed-settee that can accommodate a further two guests so that we can take 7-9 people. In addition to the gas central heating, both dining-room and lounge have wood burning stoves. There is a full size fridge- freezer in the kitchen and an automatic washing machine in the utility room. The separate drying-room also has a large fridge/freezer. Unusually, for large family gatherings, we can also make available the separate, self-contained Morrone Cottage that sleeps four in 4 single beds. It can be configured by unlocking doors in the adjoining corridor to make a single large property if required, so that parties of 11-13 can be accommodated. Morrone has 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms (3 double and one single). There is one double bedroom and one bathroom with W/C and walk-in shower are downstairs. Upstairs, there is a bathroom with bath and a shower and master bedroom with large queen-size bed. There is a further double bedroom with twin beds and en-suite shower room/bathroom, and a single bedroom with single bed. The mature garden is sunny and landscaped with three lawns, mature trees and is fantastic for children and adults! It has a convenient paved patio with sliding double doors to the lounge together with traditional oak benches and a dining table. Other things to note Licence No. AS00245F We have a well-equipped kitchen with all cooking basics: pots and pans, lots of cutlery, glasses, crockery etc- just as you would expect at home. Like most owners, we are advised not to provide perishable foodstuffs such as oil or milk for health and safety reasons. We provide an electric drip filter coffee machine, but not coffee or tea.
