Next to the gorgeous Susquehanna River, our charming & spacious 3-story home accomodates up to 8 people comfortably.. There is ample room to spread out. Dine in our full kitchen or walk to one of many nearby restaurants. Our fenced in backyard and seating area is a major plus. Drive 20 min to Hershey or 5 min to the Farm Show Complex. The space Beautifully designed, this historic Midtown home has original artwork and unique touches throughout. Keep cool in the Summer with our central air and a supplemental window unit for the 3rd floor loft. We are half of a block from the Susquehanna River, where you can walk along riverfront park or watch a pristine Harrisburg sunset and fireworks on a lazy Summer night. The Master bedroom is blessed with a divine 4 poster King-sized bed and huge walk in closet. The bed is gorgeous mahogany and incredibly comfortable. High-end linens provided. You will truly feel like Kings and Queens in this room. The back bedroom has an equally comfortable queen bed and a smart TV, great for occupying the kids. The 3rd floor bedroom boasts a queen bed and a seating area for hanging out separately from the group. The 100% down mattress futon can fold out to become a 4th bed, so luxurious, it may win out as the most comfortable place to sleep in the house. There is also the option to have the air mattress blown up if you need a 5th bed. This is available when you have more than 8 guests in your group. You would need to communicate with me that you need the air mattress prior to your arrival. Enjoy some fun in our back game room, outfitted with a foos ball table, kid and adult games, and books. The kitchen is newly renovated and fully stocked with all new appliances including a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and stove. The living room is super comfy with real leather couches and a smart TV. In the morning, the light streams into this room in the most sweet and warming way. The full bathroom is spacious and new with a double vanity and a bathtub/shower. Towels provided. Our back patio is elegantly shaded by an ancient maple tree, has a huge dining area, is fenced in and great for dogs and children. ***Please note that we do not have a washer and dryer. There is a laundromat nearby. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and fenced-in backyard. Other things to note This house is located in Midtown within Harrisburg City, the Capitol of Pennsylvania. This is a historic home from the 1860s and that is a one of the reasons many people love it. With older homes come some quirks. -Our 2 sets of stairs are narrow and some find them to be steep. -The house is not perfectly level like a new build, the ground has shifted over the past 165 years and there are a few places in the house where this is noticeable.
