Rustic Cottage and Property + Stable for Horses

Casa Colina is a recently renovated cottage and property with access to over 300 acres and 6 miles of private trails - marked and mapped for hiking & horseback riding, a stable for up to six guest horses 4 fishing ponds, and a playhouse for our younger guests. Our fully equipped kitchen has all-new appliances; guests may also prepare meals using the outdoor grill. The back yard includes 4 Adirondack chairs around a fire pit. Nearby attractions include Bellville, Sealy, Round Top, and Brenham. The space The primary bedroom (upstairs) has a king-size bed and its own bathroom. This room also has 2 closets, one with a washer-dryer inside. The downstairs living area includes a queen hide-a-bed couch, a twin hide-a-bed easy chair, a full bathroom with shower, a TV with Blu-Ray player, a screen as room divider, and a wood-burning fireplace. The downstairs kitchen and breakfast area includes: new appliances - 4-burner range with glass cooktop, refrigerator, dishwasher, traditional coffee maker, k-cup coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, garbage disposal; dining table for 6 guests; door to outdoor patio; pantry. The covered deck and the back yard include: view of the property and sunset, dining table with 4 chairs, pair of rocking chairs, propane grill, fire pit with 4 Adirondack chairs. The stable, adjacent to the house, includes: comfortable lodgings for up to 6 horses: 2 stalls, 2 pens with cover, 2 pens without cover; open indoor space (former garage). The property includes: 300+ private acres, 4 lakes for fishing (one of which is in view from the house), and 6 miles of marked trails for horseback riding or hiking. None of the trails crosses a road. A trail map is provided, and there is an online version of this map on Gaia GPS so guests may keep track of where they are via an app. For our younger guests, there is a playhouse a few minutes’ walk from the grown-up house. The playhouse’s amenities include a picnic table and benches in its front yard. Other things to note Up to 6 horses are permitted. No more than 2 horses are permitted in the barn at any one time. There are 4 additional turn-out areas. Hay is not provided.A proof of a negative Coggins Test must be provided for each horse on the Premises.
