Built in 1882 this stately Queen Anne Victorian was thoughtfully restored by an area team including regional artists and designers, Newport's renowned artisans, crafts people and housewrights. Now open to the public as The Austin House Inn, guests will find aesthetically stylish and comfortable rooms which combine late 19th Century design with contemporary amenities and flair. Guest access Pull up to the Pelham St entrance to unload your bags. You will receive a secure code to unlock the main entrance and find your key in your suite along with a parking pass, which allows you free parking at The Elk's Lodge, located 2 blocks up the street at 141 Pelham St. There is also free street parking on upper Pelham St, but watch for Permit Only parking on Spring St and lower Pelham. The Pelham One & Spring One suites are on the main level, steps from the shared fully-appointed kitchen. On the second level are 3 more bedrooms and a full bath. There is also a mini fridge in each suite. As you enter, you'll notice the cozy front porch, a perfect spot for relaxing in the shade. There is an outdoor shower with hot water for a refreshing al fresco experience!
