Perfect for large families, or friends wanting to stay together. The space Our spacious home sits on a lusciously wooded acre just one block from Lake Michigan, an ocean without the salt. Close to the beaches, one that you can walk to or a quick ride in the car, since we are close to but not too close highway 94. Nestled within a grove of mature oak trees, enjoy fall days and go apple picking and have a roaring fire in the fire pit on a blustery fall night! Take in the view of the woods from the huge wrap-around covered porch with ample but cozy seating. Enjoy the Koi pond and the vast wildlife with the sounds of the lapping waves from the shore of Lake Michigan which can enjoyed while relaxing on the multiple seating areas at our home. Experience the beer, wine and spirit tours throughout Southwest Michigan. There are over two dozen combined breweries and wineries within a 20 mile radius. Want to stay in and whip up a gourmet meal? Our over-sized kitchen is set up just for that! We offer granite counters, stainless steel appliances and a eight foot long center island for entertaining as you prepare that tasty dish. A fully functional kitchen with everything you would ever need including a double oven a warming drawer. A large Dining room, a family room with a fireplace and a cozy living room are also on the main level, each room has it's own access to the wrap around porch. On the second floor, a master suite with a cathedral ceiling offers a queen bed and includes a master bath featuring a whirl pool bath double sinks and shower. Three additional bedrooms are located on second floor. Two of the bedrooms offer queen beds and the kid's room offers a twin/full bunk bed and a full day bed. A second full bath, and laundry room are also located on second floor. The lower level has media room, play room, a large office, and half-bathroom. A perfect space for kids to play, or a quiet space to work if needed. We offer a full size Ping pong table, a chess/backgammon table, numerous board games and puzzles which are just some of the items we have to occupy the kiddos. The back yard has a grill, both charcoal and gas, a corn hole game, a large ten foot long picnic table for outside feasts and a beautiful stone fire pit with Adirondacks, perfect for roasting S'mores, checking out the stars, or just enjoying the outdoors. Guest access We want our guests to feel at home. Guests have access to whole house, except for closet in master bedroom. Other things to note Although our home is close to Lake Michigan, there is no immediate access to the lake behind our property. To get to the water, you must access one of the beaches which are close by. There are wonderful beaches which are close by. The properties to the west of our property up to the water's edge are all private dwellings. Please respect our neighbors and their privacy.
