The property has an oversized, fenced backyard, which includes a fire-pit area, with plenty of space to allow your dogs to play without worry. Also, there is a large, enclosed, outdoor shower🚿 section for washing off the sand and grime from daily beach or backyard activities. Plus, the same space has a cast-iron tub 🛀 for seasonal, warmer weather use, which allows you to bathe underneath the stars”.✨ Additionally, we provide one “extra-large” kennel and one “large” kennel for the dogs, 🐶 and both will already be setup for your convenience upon arrival. The house itself is adorable, pleasant, and comfortable with retro, rustic, and boho touches all over. The tongue-and-groove cathedral-ceilings, with post-and-beams throughout, add to the open-concept feeling. In essence, it is quite simply an eclectic little bungalow with lots of “Bow•WOW!” 🐶 And, we affectionately think of it as our 💎 “Diamond in the Ruff”. So, with local restaurants, fun activities, beach access and more all nearby within walking distance, then this property just might be the perfect getaway spot for you and your family, along with all the pups. Or, perhaps you desire an exciting trip just for yourselves as a couples retreat. Then again, maybe you simply need a solo adventure that allows for personal relaxation and rejuvenation. We are less than a half-mile walk to the beach. And, at the end of our street is Town Hall, which hosts a variety of public amenities, which include the following shown below.: • Public beach 🏖 access, public parking, public use picnic 🧺 tables with ocean 🌊 overlook, plus public restrooms 🚽(restrooms contained in the small cabana). • Tennis courts 🎾 • Ball field ⚾️ • Kids splash pad 💦 • Childrens park/playground 🛝 All these listed amenities and more may be found at the end of 47th Street (our street), then crossing Oak Island Drive. Next, go straight between Town Hall/Police Department and the Kids Play Park. Afterward, take a right directly behind Town Hall and head over to 46th Street. Lastly, take a left and head south toward the Cabana and the beach. 🏖 The following is a short walk from the property: • 🐶 Dog Park nearby: Hannon A. Templeton, Jr. Park is located at; E. Oak Island Dr. between NE 41st and NE 42nd Sts., Oak Island, NC 28465 The property holds some of the oldest and most beautiful live oak trees on the island. Scattered among the trees you will find picnic tables, wooden swings and park benches. There is also a “fenced-in dog park” and a sunny area with a nice patch of flowers. And, there is another dog park at 4601 E Oak Island Drive.
