The home is literally on the mountain, and it should be noted that most of El Salto Rd is a bumpy dirt road that requires guests to have 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive for winter access (Nov- April) to both the property and Taos Ski Valley. A little extra effort is 100% worth it for landing in this special place with friends or family. Continue up El Salto Rd and find El Salto Waterfall, a private trail ending at a spectacular long drop waterfall. AWD/4WD necessary in winter.
